The Hub is a brand that needed to define its own graphic identity. We started from scratch, as the brand was completely new. A challenging yet exciting project to work on!
The Hub is a new way of learning and practising languages in a more natural, fun way. It’s a community of people who share their passion for languages in places like libraries, restaurants or civic centres.
The Hub was a completely new brand. They needed a visual identity that captured their values and the concepts they feel identified with. They wanted a fresh, modern and fun brand. But at the same time concepts such as community, sharing experiences or knowledge were very important too.
Our goal was to create a brand that captured all these concepts and that helped The Hub communicate more easily with potential new students.
To choose the brand colours we thought of RGB: red, green and blue are the three primary colors in light, and are the basis from which all other colours are formed. The Hub does the same, with the sum of three variables: students, teachers and spaces, it builds a whole universe of experiences and knowledge.
We decided to choose three vibrant and bright variants of these three colours which would help the brand to be perceived as modern and friendly.
We still wanted The Hub to go a step further. So we decided to use a gradient which would allow us to create an infinite spectrum of colours. This way, they could create as many subcategories as they needed, each of them with an individual and unique colour. At the same time, having this spectrum reinforced the idea of a diverse and culturally rich community.
The Hub is a cross-cutting brand aimed to teach languages while sharing experiences in a very specific context. For exemple, while you learn music, cooking or sport.
When you have an exciting project in mind all you need is someone who is up to it. We work with digital businesses that believe in the power of design.
